BEDSaHEAD is a proudly Australian, family-owned business creating handcrafted, made-to-order beds, bedheads, and bespoke soft furnishings. From bed bases and valances, to ottomans, pelmets, and scatter cushions – every piece is built with care in our Sydney workshop using quality materials and traditional craftsmanship.
Founded in 2011 from a desire to find the perfect custom bedhead, we’ve since helped transform over 5000 homes across Australia. What makes us different? True customisation without compromise. Each piece is built by skilled upholsterers, using quality materials designed for comfort and longevity. Our aim is simple: furniture that not only elevates your space, but feels personal to you. Sustainability also matters to us – from using Oeko-Tex certified fabrics and supporting ethical rug production through Care & Fair, to recycling foam and fabric offcuts through eco and community initiatives.
BEDSaHEAD began in 2011 with a simple frustration: we couldn’t find a bedhead that combined the right style, size, fabric, and quality at an affordable price. After searching endlessly in stores and online, we decided to design and make our own.
That decision sparked the foundation of our business – giving people the same freedom of choice we discovered for ourselves. By choosing your own fabric, colour, and style, you can create a custom piece that truly belongs in your home.
Visit our showroom for one-on-one design consultation, explore our extensive fabric library, and see your furniture being made in our open workroom. Can’t make it in? We’ll send fabric samples to your door and offer remote design support to help you find your perfect fit. We delivery nationally, with an average turn around time of 4-6 weeks from order. (Please allow a little longer during peak seasons such as Christmas.)
